hasnachos Says:
Jul 26, 2011 - does anyone know how many foot pounds of energy in a .50bmg?
OldManNipples Says:
Jul 26, 2011 - The bullet? Or the recoil?
hasnachos Says:
Jul 28, 2011 - bullet.
MrDip02 Says:
Jul 29, 2011 - AS-50 FTW hahah
OldManNipples Says:
Jul 30, 2011 - Any where from 13,000 - almost 15,000 ft pounds. Depends on the load.

Aug 1, 2011 - It's over 9000!!!!

Aug 16, 2011 - The biggest surprise is that an MP-5 in 9mm Parabellum, with an aimpoint Comp ML is just as bad..
wtfzweb Says:
Aug 22, 2011 - if u freez at 0:21 the shell looks like the bullet is in it still?
karinosai Says:
Sep 22, 2011 - I memorize force in joules, and certain loads of .50 go over 20 kilojoules.OldMan's probably right.

Sep 28, 2011 - Naw, the top of the brass where it is necked is just coated with burnt powder, giving it a different appearance from the rest of the brass.

MasterBlasterRGR Says:
Nov 17, 2011 - The Trijicon TA648-50: ACOG 6x48 Scope won't do this. It is not a mil.dot scope, but hell, who needs a mil dot at 1000 yards with a 50 cal. Right?
russr Says:
Nov 17, 2011 - the TA648-50 is a 6x scope.... not vary useful at 1k and farther
drbackjack Says:
Dec 15, 2011 - Joking right?
murcielagoowner Says:
Feb 16, 2012 - you obviously do not understand what a mil dot scope is
idontrunntoofast Says:
Feb 20, 2012 - the ta648-50 is a nice scope for certain applications but as russr said for F-class shooting you want something more than 6x (and for when you get to long range shooting is when you want mil.dot, if not used for gauging distances it is useful for giving the shooter points of refrence.)
justadbeer Says:
Feb 24, 2012 - Your comment makes absolutely no sense at all. An ACOG is made for short range work, why would you want it on a 50? A MIL dot scope (which I have every reason to believe you don't have a clue about) is the standard for sniper rifles
ReeveKnivesdotCom Says:
Feb 25, 2012 - hmmmm the picatinny base is certainly flexing as the rear portion of it isn't screw down into the receiver.. the scope might be flexing some but not sure... the rifle is experiencing muzzle jump from the recoil but not sure that it is actually flexing.

Mar 13, 2012 - Good post. There are many a retard here on youtube, One guy was saying that the NightForce 8-32X56MM does not have enough elevation with 65 MOA and a 30MM tube to allow a .338 LM to shoot out to 800 meters. (I guess this retard was smarter than NightForce who built the scope for long range 32X magnification.) I didn't have the heart to tell the retard that I shot the scope on my .223 makng hits out to 800 yards using 55 grain ammo, no holding over retical, and never maxed elevation.
