Mar 27, 2012 - To me, this sounds too cheerful & not bothered, for supposingly being about surviving zombies, but I truly like this & the art work too. This could be the theme when you reunite with those you care for, made real friends while surviving, your all alive, not infected, found clean water, food, supplies, & weapons, and everything is going to get better, on the path to being ok. This remix is the theme of hope & assurance.

Rotarydragon Says:

Mar 27, 2012 - Compared to the original, which is more suited to shooing, cutting, and outrunning zombies....maybe filmed in slo mo, if your not the ones running, fighting & barricading.

Rotarydragon Says:

Mar 27, 2012 - I also, to the original, picture hiding from & sneaking around zombies like Naked or Solid Snake would, only engaging when important, and killing strategicly to save energy, ammo, & blade sharpness, reduce chances of infection, destroying zombies alone or with friends, All to the original. Save this remix when were clear.

nickcommie Says:

Apr 16, 2012 - Oh my god. Do you really think this sound is about zombies? Jesus christ...

Rotarydragon Says:

Apr 16, 2012 - Then let me know exactly what this song is about. Educate me. What inspired the lyrics of this song? It would be wise if you bring a link to proof. My comment was how this song & remix made me feel, and was my opinion, but you seem to have FACTS. So Christian or whatever you are, what does this song mean? And don't makeup bullshit to show me. If your passing your opinion as fact, then leave me alone, & don't was our time you weak troll.

nickcommie Says:

Apr 17, 2012 - Are you really 22? You're the one who said "for supposedly being about surviving zombies" - it is not your OPINION that it is "supposedly" about surviving zombies because you are choosing to perpetuate that interpretation of the song as if it has ANY validity whatsoever.

nickcommie Says:

Apr 17, 2012 - It's not a matter of fact vs opinion, by the way. It's a matter of intelligent interpretation vs completely ridiculous things. Just because something is your opinion doesn't mean it can't be stupid. The song is just obviously not about zombies. You must have a very small ability to grasp metaphorical meaning if you take it THAT literally. Why would Metric write a song about zombies? I think it's probably more likely to be about fame and the pressure the band feels regarding media.

nickcommie Says:

Apr 17, 2012 - Similar to their song "Soft rock star". I'm not saying that the song can't make you FEEL what you said about zombies, but it's not ABOUT that, that's your subjective response to it. Please go take a literature interpretation class 101.

Rotarydragon Says:

Apr 17, 2012 - I used the word supposingly because I KNOW I'm not the only 1 who believes this is about zombies. You brought me nothing to prove anything else, and you didn't denie your a troll. May all who read this argument know, your just a troll hiding behind a keyboard, starting something you can't finish. Your nothing but online evil. Youtube should reveal people like you. The world is Fucked up enough without you giggling shits. If you have nothing, drop this less you show your stupidity & worth.

nickcommie Says:

Apr 17, 2012 - Just because someone BELIEVES something is ABOUT something doesn't mean it's a VALID OPINION! I don't need to PROVE this! I'm not going to waste my time arguing with someone who can't even spell the word "deny" properly or know the difference between "your" and "you're". Anyone who thinks this song is about zombies is obviously kind of r e t a r d e d, that's all.

nickcommie Says:

Apr 17, 2012 - You need a serious lesson in logic. Just because I didn't "denie" (deny, btw) that I'm a "troll" doesn't mean I'm a troll - the same as just because you're not the only person who thinks this song is about zombies, or that that's an "opinion" doesn't mean that that's not a s t u p i d thing to think.

Rotarydragon Says:

Apr 17, 2012 - You ignorant Troll. Saying you don't need to prove something, is another way of saying you have nothing. That and misusing the word retarded to describe any1 that draws an obvious connection from the lyrics, and yet have shown no reason or idea for whatelse they may mean, your just showing & proving immaturity & confermation of being a troll. Look at you, not advancing the argument, arguing about the unrelated, what good are you? Just go kill yourself.

Rotarydragon Says:

Apr 17, 2012 - Write a note that your a troll and not to be moarned or properly buried, put it in your pocket, find an empty dumpster near a tall building, go to its roof, and faceplant into the dumpster. You will feed hungry seagulls & Raccoons. The one way your existence won't cause pain and waste.

Rotarydragon Says:

Apr 17, 2012 - Finally, I know I am not good at english & I don't care. I want to forget this language, like I will forget this broken country, because its is full of people that are dishonorable, religious, and evil, like you and far worse. There are nice people & things here, but I'm not proud to be an American. As some1 in SOUTH PARK said: "you don't like 'merica, you can getout", So my english means nothing, its go enough for me to get by so I can properly leave America, and find somewhere better I belong.

Rotarydragon Says:

Apr 17, 2012 - Oh, and don't forget to kill yourself.

nickcommie Says:

Apr 17, 2012 - Learn how to spell, doofus. I can't "prove" you wrong so stop asking me to, I can't prove your opinion wrong, you could say this song is about George Bush and I still wouldn't be able to prove you wrong -THAT DOESN'T MAKE YOU RIGHT. You really don't understand the concept of a logical fallacy, do you? And it's not an "obvious" connection from the lyrics, you are taking the song far too seriously, but then again, you also like the song sk8r boi by Avril Lavinge. Have fun living in mom's basement.

nickcommie Says:

Apr 17, 2012 - far too literally*. Like I said before, genius, go take a class on interpretation of literature, film, etc. And preferably somewhere other than your local community college, you dolt.

Rotarydragon Says:

Apr 17, 2012 - You did let me think about what other meanings the lyrics may mean. Is she surviving her fans, or personified troubles like debt collection? Whatever the case, Media is left to interpretation. What would band of Metric say individually & together about their meaning? If your a real troll, kill yourself or get help. If your literature professional, was it so hard to share the possible metaphorical meaning of the lyrics instead of labeling every1 that enjoys this song at face value "retarded"?

nickcommie Says:

Apr 17, 2012 - It's not about LITERAL SURVIVAL! It's art, it's a song! It's metaphor! Symbolism! Why would it be literal? Geez. It sounds a lot like it's about the issues of celebrity and the pressure of media as they have written about in other songs. Also, no one is "real troll" - why is everything so black and white to you? I didn't label you as retarded, btw, until you kept embarrassing yourself by replying.

Rotarydragon Says:

Apr 17, 2012 - I don't need learn to spell in english, I want to master another language as if I was born into it, growing speaking, reading, and writing it. At most, english will be a 2nd or 3rd language. Your bloodline probably loving supports every move you make, mine doesn't. I don't mean to sound cleché, but I have little nothing in common with the bloodline I'm leaving. Im an antireligious youngman into cars, surrounded by over-religious obnoxious jamaicans. Working on my own for a new existence.

Rotarydragon Says:

Apr 17, 2012 - Who we choose to surround us defines effects us inside out. Be proud of what you EARN & underestimate nothing or no 1. Don't judge me about sk8ter boi, I like love songs. From passionate to teenage punkrock. If the lyrics are clear and understandable, the music is nice supplement, I may like the song. If I like a whole album, I may like the artist/band. Ether way, I don't research artists/bands because I may not like what I find, and that may ruin what I do like. Pandora is a big help.

Rotarydragon Says:

Apr 17, 2012 - This isn't about me & I don't expect you to care, but your right, I guess the only way to prove the meaning of the lyrics is to somehow ask Metric directly. I never looked to visit their Official site, but if they respond to fans like that, then thats a way we can find out for sure (if that site is truly run by them and not fans).

Rotarydragon Says:

Apr 17, 2012 - I'm am fan of Resident Evil media, that is why I interpreted Survival from the song. If this & others were pure metaphorical, I accept that. I wouldn't know because I don't scan music or its makers. I just enjoy the music, too busy & distracted to currently go deeper into music then to just enjoy. As for replying, no regrets, I like closure, & cautious of internet trolls, those people that DO just start fights. I did learn from & enjoy this conversation, whoever you are, goodbye.

Apr 19, 2012 - i hate it when the background slowly moves in the video because the song loads so much slower than when its just a picture
