Apr 30, 2012 - not really...since the day we got her, we had her like that and she dosen't mind it. also if he is maybe 2 years old, he might be scared, since its a new thing he is experiencing. you can try by grabing him on the back muscle(I dont know what it's called) and slowly putting him on his back in your arms.hope it helps=)

May 16, 2012 - Actually, its not a good idea to have them on their back.. its something you should only really ever do if necessary, i.e if they are refusing to take medicine.. rabbits have very small hearts and tipping them on their backs increases their chances of having a heart attack. My rabbit Casper died two weeks ago from a heart attack because we were trying to give him medicine and he couldn't cope with the stress :( please be careful
