Feb 5, 2012 - What I would like to see of this series is Annie trying to cope, in her ghostly ways of course, with Mitchell's death. And I really hope that the series doesn't just pick up with no mention of Mitchell at all, like they've already gotten over his death. Too many Tv shows and movie series have done that, it is quite depressing to forget about characters that so many of us fell in love with. If they don't at least mention him, I think I will become so depressed and give up on the new series.

Feb 8, 2012 - I kind of like how OCD and proper he is, I think it's a good contrast to Mitchell, who was kind of messy. like, OMG the comb and sissors arn't parallel to eachother *must fix* O_O. and there is also a major plus to the fact that hal hasn't fallen off the wagon and tried to justify himself, which was why mitchell needed to die. Also hal being around 500 will make him better in the eyes of the vampires and the audiance (They made mitchell look childish with his random bindges *psh* 112 year olds)

Mar 1, 2012 - Unfortunately, the writers said that the pair have never met. Although they did say since Hal one of the head Old Ones and Mitchell was a pretty influencial vampire himself, it is most likely they would've heard of each other, Mitchell would have DEFINITELY heard of Hal- they said if you went far back enough through Mitchell's vampiric lineage, you probably would find Hal in there somewhere. So, Hal could be Mitchell's great-great-great-grandfather/uncle

Mar 3, 2012 - Yeah it's really not good to look at the new cast members are replacements. I've seen it in other shows, you do that and it starts to build resentment in some fans and then the whole thing falls apart. So far they seem to have done a good job of easing in the new characters and making them their own characters and avoiding some of the pitfalls of other shows that have done this kind of thing. :)

Mar 6, 2012 - Of course he had to have heard of Hal. How else did Mitchell get the idea to get a wolf to help him stay off the blood? Mitchell definitely coped better though, personality wise. At least until the death thing. Maybe he needed a routine too.
