Here is his reply which is quite moving:********************************************Well I showed it to my wife (who is Chinese). The translations don't match 100%, I saw the original afterwards and was like "okay that's better". But, I'll actually share something with you very true. When I first came to China I lived in a place called XiaoShan( a rich district of Hangzhou) and made a few friends with business owners. Last month I met up with them at a convenient store and on the TV there was talk about U.S. politicians. XiaoCun (her name) was very excited talking about a politician that was really good, he was even in the newspaper (here in China) and that most Chinese people thought he'd be the one to beat Obama. I honestly thought it was Rick Perry but when I showed her a picture of him on my Laptop she said nope. I showed her Ron Paul and she knew exactly who he was. The question that followed her face afterwards was priceless, she said "Why don't you Americans listen to him, the words he says are so good, we never get a chance to have something like that in China." Afterwards a huge debate arose about how sick they were about the Chinese government, how they wanted Ron Paul's idea of freedom in China but it'd never happen. And the obvious "you guys get a choice but don't take it, we get no choice and it's what we want."It ended in a somebody else would win because Americans don't understand and care anymore. Do you understand that the U.S. is not the only country IN the western hemisphere? May 18, 2012 - Why wait for the collapse, why even think about it? Why not rationally look at what Dr Paul is advocating and address that.Four more years? More debt, more war more terror.You cannot be saying that the degree of American freedom and rights lost under the Obama government is a positive thing.Look at the state your once wonderful country is in and you want to listen to a political science professor?How bad do you want it to get?

I want you to tell me exactly which American freedom and rights have been lost under Obama, and how many wars have been initiated during the same time. The debt thing is indeed an issue, but as a liberal, I simply prefer keeping some more costly programs, like environmental ones and the education system. And, I only mentioned a political science professor because some other guy told me to ask one.

May 20, 2012 - Well, I gotta disagree with pretty much all of your posts that I read. This one in particular though... NDAA, $10T raise in debt, bailing out companies with public funds, the medicare that benefited a few insurance companies, Libya (undeclared). Those are just some of the constitutional arguments, then you can get into all the campaign lies... You can't reasonably say to me that tripling the national debt has helped your country at all when production has certainly not tripled or even doubled.

May 20, 2012 - @chriskathol A shitload of debt does not equal total collapse. Like it or not, spending a ton of money is how Democrats work, and it's the main reason why people don't like us. Has it helped our country? No, I never said that. But I would prefer that debt and all those other things (a lot of them important, but not to me) to some of the things Paul supports, like dissolving public education, legalizing segregation, and shrinking the government in general.

The private stock holders of the Federal Reserve Bank are extremely wealthy and the debt is paid to them by the 99% in the form of Federal Income Tax. As long as we are engaged in deficit spending, the debt grows geometrically which means it's only a matter of time before we owe most of our paycheck earnings to wealthy bankers. It's not so much a collapse of the economy as it is the collapse of the middle class into debt slavery.

May 21, 2012 - @EMAN360ELITE What you're saying is true, I'll acknowledge that. However, what Ron Paul proposes to do will not ease the gap between rich and poor, it will just shift around the money. Business owners will be able to thrive without any safety or environmental restrictions whatsoever, and eventually it will go back to Industrial Revolution distribution, where the biggest businessmen had obscene amounts of money. Also, poor people will find themselves without welfare, making them even poorer.

May 22, 2012 - @DubonEngeven His economic plan gets rid of the Department of Education, and he's called public education "socialist" before. He supports only private and home schooling. He also wants to get rid of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which outlaws discrimination on basis of gender or race. If he succeeded, then segregation would most certainly be legal. Do you research your political candidates? Did you know he's also radically pro-life and believes interstate highways are unconstitutional?
