Mar 7, 2012 - Whether or not she was a virgin in this video...she's ends up being with John Mayer.. definitely not a virgin anymore.
bezilliox Says:
Apr 11, 2012 - why?
spidermanfreak911 Says:
Apr 11, 2012 - Well for one, if your first time is with your spouse, you have nothing to compare it to. Theres so much freedom and fun in that. And then there's the emotional implications. When you have sex with some one, you feel bonded to them -- it doesn't always have to feel like a huge, overwhelming thing, but it can be. And it is. So you're bonding yourself to other people that aren't your "one." And imagine how your future spouse would feel if they waited for you, and you've went ahead before them. P...

Apr 11, 2012 - ...lus there's all the STD's that you can get from numerous partners. Really, I take staying a virgin until your wedding night as a respect thing. Respect for you and respect for your life partner. I'm also a Christian, so it's especially important for me to stay pure out of love and respect for God. Take sex as a present and when you get married, you are giving your spouse that present. Do you want that present to be only for your husband or wife, or do you want other people to have opened it?
11SuperRosie Says:
Apr 11, 2012 - whatever, I mean YOLO so do what you want when you want as long as its legal ;)
bezilliox Says:
Apr 12, 2012 - I'm a Christian as well; I'm not a virgin. I became a Christian way after having lost my virginity. Does that mean I'm soiled goods; an opened present that nobody wants? What about divorce - I know many Christians who have gotten divorced. I don't think in the bible anywhere it says we have a "one"; who do we save ourselves for? How should the second husband or wife feel - like they're receiving an opened present? It seems strange to me to think of sex as a present.
spidermanfreak911 Says:
Apr 12, 2012 - There is always redemption in Christ. Your purity can always be restored to you if you just ask Him. What you did was a part of your "old self," which died with Jesus on the cross. So that is forgiven if you ask. As is any other sin. Christians who get divorced is a different case - they sincerely believed thy were to be with that person, so naturally they engaged in sex because that's part of the marital union. So that would be an upright situation, if the divorce was
spidermanfreak911 Says:
Apr 12, 2012 - done for the right reasons, like cheating. I know of a Christian man whose spouse had passed away, and then he got remarried. The sex from the first relationship was done in the right terms. And done with respect. Same with the second marriage. And by "one," I was referring to a future spouse. Which most everyone has been destined for. So while the metaphor of a present isn't precisely and totally correct, it is a figure of having something special to present to your spouse on the wedding night.
bezilliox Says:
Apr 13, 2012 - I think sex is fine and good in the bonds of a loving, committed relationship. Married or not. There are marriages where a spouse is abused, or mistreated in some significant way. I don't see why those relationships, if they contain sex, are better or more Godly then two people who aren't married but loved eachother and treat eachother with respect. I think too much emphasis is put on the bonds of marriage versus treating a partner, married or not, in a Godly way.
G00FYG00BER5 Says:
