Feb 7, 2012 - It hurts me to my soul that the brilliant T. Sowell is backing Newt Gingrich and not Ron Paul.

aussieconservative Says:
Feb 7, 2012 - Id support paul if it wasnt for his position on foreign policy and his position on drugs. both of those positions might be the kind of thing that plays well in crowded college campus halls but they are not practical positions to have in the society we have now or do they deal with the practical realities of the political process.
biozamadotcom Says:
Feb 7, 2012 - How can you cut welfare when the govt imports thousands of third worlders with no skills who cannot speak english into the USA every year? They import poverty quicker than anything else guaranteeing worse conditions for the citizenry.
biozamadotcom Says:
Feb 7, 2012 - If Sowell backs Gingrich, then Tom is lost. Gingrich's admin repealed Glass-Steagall, gave us NAFTA and broke the Contract with America. He's not as smart as I used to think he was.
daizee106 Says:
Feb 7, 2012 - I agree with You 100%. I used to think He was very impressive until I heard his rhetoric about gingrich

Feb 7, 2012 - The difinition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. Stop listening to the talking heads
fzqlcs Says:
Feb 7, 2012 - Sowell's beef with Paul is regarding foreign policy. He agrees that drugs should be legalized (YouTube video - "Thomas Sowell - Why Drugs Should Be Legalized.")
natritious1 Says:
Feb 10, 2012 - which riots?
natritious1 Says:
Feb 10, 2012 - exactly. Anybody with a brain will stay out of it and work on the black/gray markets. or the ones with money are probly already out of america.
InvincibleNumanist Says:
Feb 10, 2012 - The remark about stealing televisions instead of bread is completely irrelevant as well as completely untrue. Plenty of grocer stores were robbed. But do they not think those electronic items are going to be sold? They cant assume they are all going to be there for direct personal use.
endwelfare Says:
Feb 17, 2012 - its a shame that blacks have no idea who these guys are but they know al sharpton and jesse jackson
Juras187 Says:
Feb 18, 2012 - Maybe it's because he was actualy there in the old days fighting with Gingrich instead of against him.I think Gingrich has made alot of mistakes and isn't the perfect guy for sure, but seeing people try to dismiss the great things that he accomplished for the conservative movement is dishonest and disgracefull.
d4n4nable Says:
Mar 4, 2012 - Immigration of poor and uneducated people happend constantly during the gilded age - but these guys escaped poverty, exactly BECAUSE there was no welfare. It's welfare that causes these people to stay in poverty and drains wealth and opportunities from working guys and as a result also from poor people, both natives and immigrants. If welfare, benefits, minimum wage laws and regulations didn't exist, there were neither poverty nor unemployment across the board.

Feb 6, 2012 - ....DOCTORS who get fat government checks by guaranteeing that anyone who walks through the door can be found to have some form of qualifying disability. Don't believe me? Check the facts for yourself.....It's all public record.....Welfare reform law, percentage of SSI disabled persons receiving benefits in 1993 vs 2003.....F'ing Liberals! It's stuff like this (and there's A LOT OF IT) that's driving this country right into the crapper!
