flash818234 Says:

Apr 26, 2012 - Best of underrated songs of A-ha:1. Living Daylights2. Minor earth, major sky3. Cry wolf

alessya87 Says:

Apr 27, 2012 - Actually what many people don't know is that A-ha had already composed this song (well maybe without the words) long before the song became a soundtrack. The other effects and words were probably added by John Barry, who, if I'm not mistaking, also produced Duran Duran's song. So it wasn't that A-ha tried to "copy" DD's song, blame it on Barry (RIP)...

rematpac Says:

Apr 28, 2012 - If A-ha already composed this song with different lyrics before the movie then how could John Barry have composed the same music again later? That makes no sense. The only way that could be possible is if A-ha wrote the song with the idea of it hopefully being accepted as The Living Daylights soundtrack and they obviously heard Duran Duran's View to a Kill since it came out first and used it as a template.

dayargrosario Says:

Apr 28, 2012 - check out the album version and you will see that alessya87 is right, barry only did some arrangements to make it sound as the typical bond theme..(he wanted something similar to duran duran because he was happy about its succes)pal waaktaar and he argued about the credits because of that, but later pal said that he appreciates the effects barry gave to the song for the film.

rematpac Says:

Apr 28, 2012 - Yea,I realize that it was co-written by Barry and A-ha.What I'm saying is that A-ha was obviously already very familiar with Duran Duran's song which was very successful and were obviously influenced by it,way too much in my opinion.Barry was a 1st rate musician and would not have made the chord changes so similar to the last song in all likelihood, but probably made changes that would disguise the blatant similarities instead.Thanx for the info anyway.

Chewie Baron Says:

May 3, 2012 - This has to be one of the best Bond Songs ever made. And it has not aged at all.

cristinawilligs Says:

May 4, 2012 - more amazing would be that Paul Waaktaar become the next bond composer, he did a great job with the song for the norwegian film head hunters

motord1 Says:

May 19, 2012 - AMEN!!! Timothy Dalton why did you just tease us with two Bond films? Where are you?

chicksdigsme Says:

May 21, 2012 - yes i love licence to kill my favorite movie after goldeneye ..he is the real james bond..much better then connery i love connery but when thunderball came terrence young direction was just messed up/the climax was so bad that i actaully like never say never again...if they bring dalton now again i am 1000 sure he will pull it off..just let someone else to the hardcore stunts & he makes craig his bitch..dangeruous stylish bond...love dalton..btw i am a new bond fan became last year.

ptfcgee Says:

iloveicarly84 Says:

May 23, 2012 - I thought the SAME thing, until I saw the boom box, the clothes, the hair, etc

gregingram1970 Says:

May 27, 2012 - this doesnt sound like duran duran - a view to a kill - in the slightest.

gregingram1970 Says:

May 27, 2012 - not only does this not sound like duran duran, and despite Aha being great at the time, and probably one of the greatest 80s bands, this track is absolutley in no way in the same league as duran duran a view to a kill. no body knows this track. avtak was and still is a very famous track.

Metaltherebel92 Says:

May 28, 2012 - This is my favorite bond theme along with You Know My Name and A View To A Kill. i mostly dislikes most of the bond songs, they may fit the movie, but so many are slow and uninspired. This is one the more creative and energy-filled ones along with the two others I said. Live And Let Die is not bad either.

Diana Orantes Says:

May 28, 2012 - cancion impresionante, es super genial
