Mar 28, 2012 - Yes todays music is all fabricated..........there are talented and great musicians out there but they dont get mainstreamed because of what the younger generation spends their money on. Its sick but the truth. All us folks have is our memories and old records..

Apr 10, 2012 - If it wasn't for guys like Kris Kristofferson writing this song you wouldn't know who Ray Price was. He was just another Nashville hack. The real innovators were down in Texas doing outlaw country. Guys like Ray Wylie Hubbard, Jerry Jeff Walker, Johnny Russell, Steve Earl Leon Russell and Billy Joe Shaver
TheRealMichaelWayson Says:
Apr 10, 2012 - everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Yes, I respect Kris for writing the song and respect what people did before and after Ray. But look at now compared to then, those guys like Ray Wylie Hubbard and Jerry Jeff Walker aren't even talked about or recognized anymore. It's a sin what happened to country music. Nobody respects the past country stars anymore. Heck, nobody understands what country music is anymore.

Apr 15, 2012 - Remember it was an unknown by the name of Willie Nelson that gave a song to Patsy Cline that made her a household name. That song was Crazy. Nashville is a great town...even for them boys from Texas.

Apr 26, 2012 - @JMichaelcapp Ray Price is a Texas man dumb ass. He was writing music before Kris, Billy joe, Hubbard
shrnhou Says:
Apr 29, 2012 - Ray Price is one of the best country singers this country ever had! You can dance to his music and feel the joy/pain with it. Whoever says he is a Nashville hack does not know his country singers. FYI: Kris Kristofferson can write but can NOT carry a tune.
BigBob76331 Says:
May 5, 2012 - I chose this song as the best breakup song ever. Potential Breakup Song and My Immortal (the songs I ranked #2 and #3 were good, but nowhere near this good

May 6, 2012 - I remember seeing Ray for the first time while in Waco Texas. I was in the Army back then at Fort Hood. Laying in bed at some motel watching Johnny Carson show when this man in a blue suit came out and sang this song. I never forgot it. Now I go to Las Vegas and finally see him. Being from Los Angeles City I new nothing about country music. But now I see him "For The Good Times."
