Sep 8, 2010 - can anybody tell me when will this Large Hadron Collider will be finished? and we will have question answered? I mean (if nobody understood) when is collider experiment going to end?

MicrosoftsourceCode Says:

Sep 8, 2010 - LOL I will do better then that m8 I have found a channel here on yt that is update and is willing to answer questions. The problem with yt is channels like this one do not answer questions and only upload videos to get top views. If you do an search for updates on CERN on yt you get a lot of annoying old garbage about the Hadron collider creating a back hole. check out this channel sixtysymbols.

Aanthanur Says:

Sep 8, 2010 - i talked about a peer reviewed scientific paper, not some YT channel.

MicrosoftsourceCode Says:

Sep 8, 2010 - @Aanthanur Maybe you should check the channel before making judgments. If your so rushed to find answers in white papers why are you not looking for yourself?. I am always flummoxed by the number of people that use the net and ask fellow users for information that they could have googled themselves. Rather then use the free search engines people wait days some times months for a comment with an answer that is right @ their finger tips. peace out. I am done

Aanthanur Says:

Sep 8, 2010 - you are the one making claims about it could all be wrong and different and other claims, i thought you maybe knew something new, but it turns out, you just pulled it out of your rear end......

MicrosoftsourceCode Says:

Sep 8, 2010 - You clearly have communication problems. What every you and selraith123 what to know you will never know because you are just looking for a fight. You do not have the intelligence to read all the comments I made and so you choose to make stuff up as you go a long. You have a problem solving mind that tries to solve problems that don't exist so you never sleep thinking about me and not the Higgs. Please kindly FUCK OFF and stop bothering me I don't give a fuck about you

MicrosoftsourceCode Says:

Sep 8, 2010 - @Aanthanur Stop commenting to me. You of all people live in Switzerland or you think you do.Go talk to the people @ CERN. But then again what use would information on the Higgs do for you? I bet you haven't a fucking clue. You just want to be one of the boys with information that is of no use to you. Even when I gave you a link that could lead you to the information you want you throw it back @ me like 2 year old that throws it's food. bye bye fool. don't keep writing back.

Aanthanur Says:

Sep 8, 2010 - Well i do have only a limited understanding of the Standard Model. But i do understand it so far that i understand what the higgs boson is or should be if the prediction of the Standard model is correct. You made abstruse claims, i demanded evidence, you get upset and start name calling, You accuse me of acting like a 2 year old, while you are the one displaying childish behavior.and when you want to end this debate, it is you that just needs to stop answering me :) peace

bigvaxo Says:

Sep 12, 2010 - I googled "when is CERN going to end" and no answers did i google them wrong or something? anyway I'm really looking forward to hearing about what they have found till now or will find out. in first i thought it gonna take about a year or two for this to end. I was wrong. any links to were I can find what they have found? up to date? sorry to ask so many questions ;)

sbergman27 Says:

Sep 16, 2010 - : LHC or AMS? There is some possibility that LHC will find evidence supporting the extra spatial dimensions required by String/M Theory. This would not establish String Theory. But it would be encouraging, and give us some evidence for why gravity is so much weaker than the other forces, in our Universe. Unfortunately, it probably *won't* be able to detect the extra dimensions, even if they exist. But it is a tantalizing prospect.

sbergman27 Says:

Sep 16, 2010 - : No. I'm not from UM. Where did that question come from? The video is about AMS, but most of the conversation here seems to be about LHC. You ambiguously mentioned 'dimension' as a project objective. I explained what related topic I'm aware of which is on the table for study using LHC. It's a long-shot. But not a totally unreasonable research target.

menthol5 Says:

Sep 22, 2010 - it is so inspiring to people collaborating on expanding knowledge rather than new intricate ways to kill people. Go CERN and the LHC!

JmSantos78 Says:

Sep 25, 2010 - It will be at least a couple of years until they have something "conclusive".There's a lot of data to be analized and experiments to be made. Plus, if transfoby is right the LHC isn't even working right now.I guess we'll just have to be patient... Peace!

JmSantos78 Says:

Sep 25, 2010 - Lol!

JmSantos78 Says:

Sep 25, 2010 - It's not bad English, just not the "regular" accents (english, american, australian,...). I agree with you they could do a little better, but take Paola, for ex. She speaks at least 3 diff. languages ( Italian, French and English). You gotta give her credit for that. How many americans speak any language other than English? But I digress. Peace!

z1inspector Says:

Nov 9, 2010 - OH COME ON !!!!the therorists should @ liest be giving us SOMTHING NEW BY NOW !!!!!!updating their views RIGHT ????????

marck079 Says:

Dec 12, 2010 - thanks for the post, I'm "glad" however, in realizing that we all mankind could get one day living in the moon, and despite of that we could never help posting stupid comments that above all have nothing to see with a science channel, if I were you I would seriously think in blocking some idiot comments or at least set an option like "comment waiting for approval" - it should be a very useful filter, thanks

ashKetchum1111 Says:

Dec 20, 2010 - obvious unclever trolling makes you look stupid

CERNTV Says:

Feb 5, 2011 - Thanks JmSantos78, but let me correct you. It's actually 6. She's also fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, and she's learning Dutch.SdG

CERNTV Says:

Feb 5, 2011 - The problem is, the ratio of idiot to intelligent comments is so high that it would take extra manpower to filter all that rtubbish over 70+ films. I'm alone, and I'm also making all the clips, so not much time to dedicate to managing this channel... sorry.SdG

marck079 Says:

Feb 26, 2011 - thanks a lot for your reply, sorry in not responding earlier,of course I can see the reason you pointed out, don't mean to appear hypocrite,it happens even to me to be silly sometimes(even worse than that,I can swear!..),but normally I go to a glamour forum or something similar,so the only reason why I just don't understand is why&how some people "bother" in getting into a science channel to give some kind of "contributes",it's not logic at all to me!,many thanks again for the clarification, rgds.
