Feb 5, 2012 - Beginning reminds me of Journey of the Sorceror. Anyhow, some people complain that Robert Downey Jr is too slick, glib and American for Sherlock Holmes. I can see their point, but it's not as though he's your typical Hollywood actor. He's a troubled but brilliant addict playing a troubled but brilliant addict. Besides, he doesn't seem American as Sherlock. People need to realise that in this increasingly tiny world, nationality means very little, especially in the face of sheer talent.
