Feb 1, 2012 - there are videos out there of tony jaa throwing thai kicks on pads, they looked very weak and his form was quite forced, as if he's never really kicked pads before, I doubt he could land any of those things in an actual fight, or even under competition environment, but he never claims to be anything more, just his fans misunderstanding what he does.

Apr 17, 2012 - I'm actually confused between Muay Thai and Muay Boran. I just joined a Muay Thai class and found out that I get to learn stuff and moves that are like quite similar in this video. The only difference I thought was the fighting stance.All in all, Muay Thai and Muay Boran are the same, right? That's why some people call it, "Muay Thai Boran".

He just take fancy moves from different style of muay boran and he changed them to be more fancy and beautiful for the camera but he's not a fighter. My teacher told me that during training he just push him a little bit Jaa felt down. My Ajarn is a respected teacher in thailand.
