Ha!....The Auteurs/Luke Haines; I've just read his book [which I found lurking in a 2nd hand shop].....Almost nearly a good band,a lead singer that was almost nearly intellectual,had nearly almost a serious drug habit, almost nearly had a serious mental illness/breakdown, was almost nearly paralysed in an accident,almost nearly a rebel and almost nearly a violent nutter; in fact [in the book] he comes across as a nearly almost complete tosser [not quite tho'!-I think he acknowledges this].

Apr 18, 2012 - This was the performance that first got made me aware of The Auteurs and the genius that is Luke Haines. 18 years later and i'm finally getting to see him live this saturday in preston
