Feb 15, 2008 - I agree. His ability to present these concepts in a clear way is incredible.
Bhairavaa Says:
Feb 18, 2008 - This is pure Pratyabhijna philosophy as expounded in the relatively unknown system of Kashmir Shaivism. Tolle presents it in a beautiful way for the western mind, just as Abhinavagupta did more than a thousand years ago, and Swami Lakshmanjoo does today. Aptly, Kashmir Shaivism has been called "the Mystical Geography of Awareness and Tolle teaches this Geography in a simple, easily digestible way. One cannot but notice that Tolle lives his teaching, unique in todays world of want-a-be gurus.

Feb 19, 2008 - The intensity of the utter frustration drives you into giving up. Not really a paradox

Feb 23, 2008 - My awakening story is weird. No seeking involved! In my furor to "prove" that ex-friends of mine were narcissists, I went to the bookstore for some psychology books. Instead, I found Murray Oxman's "How to Handle Difficult People". Tiny book. I thought "hey, this is what I need and only $8.95"!Murray is an evil scientist. He hooks the ego and then shines such a bright light on the ego that it will awaken those who don't see it coming. If anyone is interested in waking up a friend, get it!

Feb 23, 2008 - I am a Muslim man, I read most of Eckhart books, listen to all his lectures and watched most of his Video. every time I hear his wisdom and enlightening words I think he is talking about Islam and the prophet Mohammed, I know this sounds weird to most people, but I am 100% convinced that all religions are the same in the true essence of their teaching, it is a shame how some people interpret things in so many ways, hurting so many people just for personal gains.
AbaJetz Says:
Feb 23, 2008 - Your right. I am muslim too. Inneddine innallahe islam. That means, there is only one trueth. I read his books and listen to his records. It sounds like islam because there is nothing else but islam what can tell us the system of the hole universe. It sounds straing, but thats the reality.
wakefulwarrior Says:
Feb 23, 2008 - One Truth. One Truth. One Truth. One Truth. One Truth. One Truth. One Truth. One Truth. One Truth. One Truth. A TRUTH BEYOND WORDS! The mind can only point to it. Just be. Simply be That which you are. :-)

Feb 25, 2008 - Eckhart Tolle is tops. If you like him, you might also enjoy Alan Watts.

Feb 25, 2008 - @Zackfar. I absolutely agree with you. It's good that some people can see the truth beyond concepts. The more people listen to Eckhart Tolle the more awareness can arise. I meditate and read spiritual books and i cannot call myself a budhist, christian, muslim or jew. Maybe future religion is more spiriual then institutioalised. Thank you
dalsgaard12 Says:
Feb 26, 2008 - I agree completely. :)There is so much truth in all spiritual teachings and philosophies, there is absolutely no need to confine yourself to one in particular. That does'nt make anyone more or less of what he already is.

Feb 27, 2008 - You may want to check out the book called "Seven Masters, One Path" by John Selby. He has made the exact same discoveries as you just did. Looking at the true teachings of Mohammed, Jesus, Buddha, and others will open up this spiritual dimension of reality, and reveal the "one truth" hidden behind all dogma (or as Tolle tells us "mental concepts") that is found in most structured religions. One can only do so much with thoughts anyway.

Feb 27, 2008 - The comment below, by the way, is intended for zackfar. Sorry for any confusion. Namaste.

Feb 27, 2008 - Hi there, thank you for your feedback and book recommendation, I checked out Jhon Selby and ordered two of his books, by the way, Oprah is doing on-line class with Eckhart Tolle starting March 3, I signed up for it, it sounds very interesting.
zackfar Says:
Feb 27, 2008 - I enjoyed listening to Alan Watts audio, he is a wonderful teacher, I just found Eckhart's teaching to be clear and easier to understand, amongst many other things.Thank you for the recommendation.

Mar 7, 2008 - tolle is a false teacher. his teachings are preparing millions to receive the antichrist. Jesus said false teachers would come.tolles message is influenced by forces of darkness. his light is a false light.
AsajjVentress Says:
Mar 7, 2008 - But, Jesus also said you will know them (the false prophets) by their fruits. Good fruit can only come from a good tree...
newenglandtom Says:
Mar 7, 2008 - yes he did. and when a person offers spiritual freedom or enlightenment outside of Christ and God's word, that is bad fruit.
newenglandtom Says:
Mar 7, 2008 - haldor the dark influence on your life shows up more and more. you support tolle, but do not even bear fruit of his teachings. there is no peace in you if there were you would be able to ignore my comments. the harder you try to be a tollite or tolleian the more you fail.
pastormike7 Says:
Mar 7, 2008 - tolle is E.T. These initials aren't an accident. I was emptying my mind of all names while watching "Close Encounters" and my spirit birthed an impulse to hum the theme from star wars while I put in the movie E.T. Then, as I was watching E.T. my spirit knew the truth. My egoism fell to the ground weeping. I knew the greater enlightenment. E.T. is E.T.E.T. is E.T. wow!(He also has a very thin neck --too thin to hold up a human head. HOw does he do it? He's E.T.!)

Feb 15, 2008 - I think Eckhart is one of the greatest spiritual teachers ever, and certainly the most relevant communicator for modern times. A beautiful man, who radiates love and peace.
