Feb 16, 2012 - Everyone has their own opinion and rightly so, but for me Stevie Ray blows Jimi Hendrix out of the water and Claptons not close, he felt the music in his soul and it showed on his face and through his magical fingers. He left us a lot of great music to remember him by. RIP SRV

Feb 23, 2012 - The boos he got from that show were saddening. But, Mr.DB was out there in that crowd and it was a show that helped SRV get his foot in many doors.

May 24, 2012 - Yes............this was a jazz festival and SRV was the only unsigned group to any record label when booked for this show....the fans expecting jazz where shocked and while some grooved to the scene other jazz purests expressed their disappointment......Bowie saw him and booked him to play on some songs (after Stevie rejected touring with him)and soon after the group signed to a label and the rest is history. SRV returned a hero to this concert to rave reviews in the years after this peformance.
