May 27, 2012 - I think it's trying to state what love is really like, you fall in and you fall out, it's always in the fairytales and it has happy endings, but it didn't end that way with Tom and Summer. Summer moved on and so did Tom, but Tom still opened Summer's eyes to the world around her, and they both learned something from being "in love". That's what I got out of it, I don't know, I am probably overanalyzing the plot...

May 29, 2012 - It's not like it was the hardest movie to understand. They even have a narrator give you a watered down premiss at the beginning of the movie. :-PThat was an excellent movie, though. I got it from hollywood video for $2, an absolute steal.
