RadioDiablo Says:
Dec 8, 2011 - The facial features of Vai are like the cool, rock n' roll version of Robert Sean Leonard.
TheMonsterHawk Says:
Dec 11, 2011 - It must have been truly impossible if Steve says that there is no way to put that note there
katkal3 Says:
Dec 16, 2011 - it's a good thing that steve is a legend guitarist cause he would starve as a comedian.
VaiRendy Says:
Dec 16, 2011 - doing just 7/8 raggae, yes it's not that hard.. but we don't know what SCALE vai played at that time that must be played in 7/8 reggae.. and every scale must be added some tone in every next. I cant imagine... u sould listen carefully :D dont blame me..
jezmundberserker Says:
Dec 17, 2011 - I think 42 Linda Ronstadt fans watched this video :-P
VaiRendy Says:
Dec 19, 2011 - what makes hard is not the 7/8 reggae..but 7/8 reggae with those 'unusual scales'? and then he had to add notes ,in front of zappa. XD
kingfreeze Says:
Jan 18, 2012 - When's the Rondstadt auditions !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
kitarra13 Says:
Jan 22, 2012 - I would not get to too insulted about playing for Linda Ronstand considering that her back up band was none other than the Eagles, before they become famous, in the early 70s.
guitarsdave Says:
Jan 24, 2012 - Cool!
MyWoody26 Says:
Jan 29, 2012 - Yo what does that mean? I didn't really get it :(
CScout671 Says:
Feb 9, 2012 - that's just Zappa busting Vai's nuts after Vai told him a certain piece of music was "impossible to play" ...just an example of Zappa's kind of humor. After all, Zappa hired Vai (after being impressed by Vai's transcripting prowess) to play "impossible" guitar parts.
ummagummas08 Says:
Feb 20, 2012 - That makes that joke so much funnier, thank you.
kermicheo Says:
Mar 21, 2012 - well that just makes it a gut buster doesn' it? the eagles suck.
salasvalor01 Says:
Mar 28, 2012 - Frank Zappa = Chronos; Steve Vai = Zeus?Or Frank Zappa = Zeus; Steve Vai = Hercules?(fail? :o)
tslick75 Says:
Apr 5, 2012 - that's too funny. though linda ronstadt probably paid better.
calabiyou Says:
Apr 5, 2012 - frank zappa = passive aggressive
dantean Says:
Apr 6, 2012 - Frank's line about Linda Rondstandt would have had me: a. dropping my guitar on top of his fucking head; then, b. calling Linda Rondstandt. I never cared that much for Frank's music after 1972 once he'd stopped calling bands "Mothers of Invention" to make it all "Frank Zappa" and this to me typifies the difference: while the original Mothers records expressed the pain of feeling marginal in a world of jocks and cheerleaders, "Frank Zappa" was about how everybody's stupid but Frank Zappa. Asshole
hongdekong Says:

gimpyjwilliams Says:
May 4, 2012 - yea right they were awesome
eberjair Says:
May 14, 2012 - He is still wrong, if Zappa asked him to add that note, then there must have been a way to do it... breaking paradimgs and rules, that was Zappa. That's why Zappa was a god of music, and Vai and amazing guitar player.
