Apr 5, 2010 - Calm yourself quasimoto. That isn't a source or a fact. You can't tell someone they're wrong because you've been playing bass/guitar for however many years. When you play string instruments, there will be some scales and different strategies you should know, but overall, you don't need to really know or memorize any of those methods. I know shit about music theory and scales with the exception of the very basic pentatonic scale and I've been playing guitar by ear for 7 years.
