Before "Crime Check", before the Newsplex, before the "if it bleeds it leads" mentality, WSVN Channel 7 was just another station in the Miami market. After they lost their NBC affiliation, everything changed! This blooper reel is from the months and years before that radical change. I'm posting this for use in a post on the Say Six! blog, http://saysix.blogspot.com/ . Feb 3, 2012 - Contrary to what the title of this blooper tape is slugged, this was NOT WSVN at the time, but WCKT and the name did not change until 1989 when the big affiliate turnover took place in the Miami Market. I should know because I was the photog at the time for the standup that Stephanie Stahl did when she complained about a bug on her lip.
