Feb 19, 2010 - I agree with hmoore23 and must say without the oliva's savatgae is just not savatage.I was lucky enough in the 80's to have worked and partied many a night with cris and jon, they are the most down to earth guys you can ever meat , and when savatage lost them theband went with them.cris you will be missed and loved always brother, music will never be the same without you .I miss you each and every day, as this song says I must believe that you will be there waiting when my time comes.

Jons vocals were distinctive to savatage and they can not be copied, look at Van Halen what happened when they lost David ( yes david was or is a ass lol) they lost that something special. When a band changes singers the band is no where near what they once were

Oct 30, 2010 - For those that don't know, Jon's voice is shot. Zachary took over vocals because of this fact and Jon readily admits it. Jon is still an amazing lyricist.

Nov 7, 2010 - It was shot post-Streets tour. He went to voice lessons, and slowly got it back. He's still not as good as before (and it doesn't look like he can sustain himself during long tours/set lists), but his voice isn't totally gone. Check out the Graspop 2010.
