May 28, 2011 - After watching La Dolce Vita I realize I don't want to become like rich white people. Having orgies with whores, partying with faggots. That's what SUBURBAN kids white and non-white are doing EVERY WEEKEND in 2011!It's pretty much for kids.But if you want a TRUE PARTY you gotta get on that "Eyes Wide Shut" Stanley Kubrick costumed masked orgy shit...that's the only way to party every Halloween. Jun 12, 2011 - I'm pretty horrified to hear Scott say that you walk away from La Dolce Vita wishing you could enter the world of the film. Many critics have conjectured that each episode in the film is a descent further into hell. Marcello is not a role model. He's a womanizer who's ultimately drawn down and corrupted by a weakness in him. The final scene assures us that he is incapable of communicating with women, that he will never reach the innocent ideal on the opposite shore, that he is forever lost.
