There may be better drummers then Portnoy, playing The Dance better, but still, HE IS the one who WROTE those amazing drum parts. I think that Portnoy's "box of tricks" is getting kinda old now, but still, he is an amazing drummer, that inspired a lot of other drummers. You may think he's an asshole, maybe he IS, but hell, like 90% of the FAMOUS musicians are!
