Mar 31, 2012 - the moon , very interesting :) I'm not here for all that, but the moon is an interesting celestial body. In fact, as our satalite it shouldn't even be there. NASA scientist and many Russian scientist came to the conclusion it is easier explaining why the moon shouldn't be there then why it is. If earth had a moon, and you look at other planets in our solar system, you would find our moon should be perhaps 20 miles in diameter. Not the 2000 miles that it is. The moon is an anomaly in nature :)

A comet hit the moon, with the equivalent of 10 ton TNT and the moon "rang like a bell" for 20 minutes.
