Description:
Jimi Hendrix Experience's first, in 1964 (or 1965) live with "Curtis Knight and the Squires" .He plays and sings "I'm a Man" (Mannish Boy) credited to Bo Diddley and Muddy Waters. As far away from the dazzling style of Hendrix 1966-70, this "I'm a Man" shows a fully mature and very personal guitar technique, besides being one of the few songs sung by Jimi with Curtis Knight and the Squires.Jimi Hendrix pre-Experience, nel 1964 dal vivo con i "Squires" di Curtis Knight.Suona e canta "I'm a man" (Mannish boy) accreditata a Bo Diddley e a Muddy Waters. Well, many fanciful stories have been written about Jimi Hendrix. His art is unique and unmistakable music after 40 years after his death is incredibly present and alive, but magazines, radio and television repeating the stereotype of genius and profligacy. The myths are dying young, cursed and burned as James Dean, Marilyn Monroe, Brian Jones, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, Syd Vicious, Kurt Cobain ...However, a lot of nonsense has been written about Jimi Hendrix. Council to read two books to understand the fundamental Jimi, his life and his art:- Harry Shapiro & Caesar Glebbeek, "Electric Gypsy"- David Henderson, "'Scuse Me While I Kiss the Sky: Jimi Hendrix: Voodoo Child"

Exiles800 Says:
Mar 25, 2012 - Jimi was murdered by his manager as Tappy Wright claimed. He had fired Michael Jeffery 12 hours before in front of witness Monika Dannemann. Hendrix Judas Caesar Glebbeek created a full magazine issue dedicated to "debunking the murder nonsense". In it he dodged the real evidence and lied or distorted preivous witness testimony to fit his cowardly agenda. Most dummies don't realize the forensic evidence captured at the scene and autopsy proves murder. The British Gov't covered-up an intel hit.
Exiles800 Says:
Mar 25, 2012 - You can see some people in this thread say Jimi drank wine and took pills and died by choking on his own vomit. However, as the emergency room doctor told, Jimi's lungs and stomach were filled with an unusually large amount of wine. What these people don't understand is that Jimi could not have possibly had such a low blood alcohol content, as found at the autopsy, if he died this way. The forensics perfectly fit Jimi being set-up with strange pills and then drowned in wine when he passed-out.
Exiles800 Says:
Mar 25, 2012 - Purples has no clue about what he is talking about. Jimi had no allergy to pills, Purple is pulling that out of his ass. If he "barely drank booze" that night then you have no other explanation for the lungs full of wine Dr Bannister witnessed besides murder (duh).

VeryMagnus Says:
Apr 8, 2012 - My friend ... If you think you have ANY recording of Jimi Hendrix are an illusion. That man has recorded more music than we will ever hear.
Rafterman123 Says:
Apr 8, 2012 - There are actually only a limited number of songs that were recorded in his 4 years of fame. And a few before he made big it in England. It is possible to own all but as with most of these things, you can never guarantee that you won't come accross one you haven't got
bejeeber Says:
Apr 10, 2012 - If anyone is wondering why the solo gets a bit less finessed starting around 2:50 it's because he's playing (picking) with his teeth.
MrsLonesome1 Says:
Apr 12, 2012 - Bo Diddley :)

apollomemories73 Says:
May 16, 2012 - I'm afraid it's still not possible to own all. Despite something around 1,700 known circulated tracks - multiple studio takes and live recordings - around 135 different shows, there's still loads of stuff that's never been bootlegged. The official releases are only the tip of the iceberg. Btw, this recording's from Hackensack, New Jersey, December 26 1965 (not `64), as that Live & Unreleased/Lifelines box set was full of errors and even contained tracks Jimi wasn't even on!
MrLemmy2000 Says:

MrVault13Dweller Says:
May 25, 2012 - He was semi black, semi white, ok? :D 50-50... He was ''dark''. Is that cool?

Exiles800 Says:
Mar 25, 2012 - You have no idea of what you are talking about. Jimi had no allergic reaction to the pills. He was murdered by being drowned in wine after firing his MI-6, mob manager. Dr Bannister was not de-licensed because of malpractice. Typical of professionals who witness government crimes he was professionally neutralized and character assassinated. The billing fraud he committed would probably cause 50% of all doctors to lose their licenses if enforced equally. The pills were a set-up.
