Dec 22, 2010 - If language were a liquid it would be rushing in. Instead here we arein a silence more eloquent than any words could ever be. These wordsare too solid, they don't move fast enough, to catch the blur in the brainas it flies by and is gone. - Suzanne Vega

Jul 15, 2011 - I won't use words againThey don't mean what I meantThey don't say what I saidThey're just the crust of the meaningWith realms underneathNever touchedNever stirredNever even moved throughIf language were liquidIt would be rushing inInstead here we areIn a silence more eloquentThan any word could ever be

Aug 15, 2011 - What fantastic expression SV has. I was reminded of the line 'words are too solid they don't move fast enough, to catch the blur of the brain...' when I recently saw a scientist try talk to one of his research students who took ecstasy and said as he got high, "I think I could tell God a thing or two." ...

Jan 17, 2012 - In Bangladesh we used to see an enteratinment show called "Jodi Kichu Mone Na Koren" ("If You Don't Take Offence") when we were little, in the early 80's, last century:) In that show they used a different kind of a microphone that didn't look like a phallic symbol. It looked like a metal flute or a shaft. That's better than some of these penis-looking microphones which they want to call "Mikes" for short! I love this song by this artist. I wish she would dress in a more womanly fashion though

Apr 7, 2012 - @ritubahar: dude, who cares what she dresses like? She's awesome.
