Apr 29, 2012 - Could I top work an ornamental pear into fruiting varieties of other pears? I have 4 massive bradfords that are beginning to split. Instead of taking them down and waiting several years on new transplants, I would like to take advantage of the well established root system. What do you think?
DaveWilsonTrees Says:
Apr 30, 2012 - You can, you just have to wait until next spring.

May 14, 2012 - Grafting police are getting tough on plant prostitution. Great informative video.
Mrcoynz Says:
May 21, 2012 - Yeah careful, If you decide to graft a patented tree, one of your neighbors might see it and call the patent police if they recognize the fruit. hahaha patent fruit trees such a joke. As long as your not using the trees for commercial growing nobody is going to take a second look at the fruit tree in your back yard, or go through the process of proving that the graft is from a patented tree.
ELCALIN1 Says:
May 22, 2012 - Question: Will this proces work in orange threes o any other fruit three whatsoever? Thanks for replying.
