May 3, 2011 - I gave up on Whitesnake after the slide it in album. They went from a heavy bluesrock band to...well i don't know. Moody/Marsden were soulful blues players. Vandenberg/Vai are too much technique, awesome players but Whitesnake lost their soul.

Mids all scooped out, plenty of slapback echo, bass and drums pounding like a freight train, singer & crowd both delivering 110%. Lyrics not exactly socially redeeming—if you're older than middle-school you can write better lyrics.
