May 3, 2011 - I gave up on Whitesnake after the slide it in album. They went from a heavy bluesrock band to...well i don't know. Moody/Marsden were soulful blues players. Vandenberg/Vai are too much technique, awesome players but Whitesnake lost their soul.

May 16, 2011 - ....I agree Whitesnake went down hill after "Slide it in" ....... Ruined by the USA.......Best albums for me were "Saints and Sinners" and "Come an` get it" .....proper music better than the rubbish today !

Jun 10, 2011 - Moody and Sykes - the rest are good players, but no soul or feeling.

zigzagbigbag Says:
Jun 19, 2011 - This is way too much guitar for the quality of music. And as for the Sykes fans he was the poormans Randy Rhodes.

Aug 5, 2011 - john sykes forever though, cold sweat solo by thin lizzy, need I say more?
WskyCreek Says:
Aug 19, 2011 - Wow, that was modest.
dxakis Says:
Aug 21, 2011 - I don't think that Whitesnake ever had a period without a great guitarist and I mean in every line-up. And anyone of them had a lot to give to the band beside David Coverdale. But, truth is, that John Sykes was the most well-fit in the band..

Aug 26, 2011 - All down hill after John Sykes
Daytona1313 Says:
Sep 3, 2011 - Like this or not, doesn't matter. Who can argue that this was not the sickest line up for an 80's band ever. Vai, Vandenberg, Sarzo, Aldrich, & Coverdale who could actually hit notes. Sick

Oct 18, 2011 - Man, this is just flat-out what a metal concert is supposed to sound like. Mids all scooped out, plenty of slapback echo, bass and drums pounding like a freight train, singer & crowd both delivering 110%. Lyrics not exactly socially redeeming—if you're older than middle-school you can write better lyrics. But hey: that's the world's biggest room ("room for improvement", heh-heh, bad AA joke, now I'll just shut the fuck up).
LadybugsTX Says:
Nov 16, 2011 - Jimminy Christmas... He doesn't even need to sing.. His speaking voice is music...
