Jun 29, 2011 - the specs are active shutter, meaning that they need batteries and etc. But i have an LG Cinema 3D TV and it uses the RealD 3D Cinema Specs which are a relief. I hear LG is working on contacts since they are only polarized ;) I hope this helped in anyway!
