Sep 9, 2011 - Une splendide performance : et une chanson inoubliable par sa mélodie. Un grand de la pop étatsunienne.

Dec 31, 2011 - What a shame with all the speculation behind how the plane crashed. It took a guy like his brother David to clear Ricky's name. May David also RIP

imlavernesmom Says:

Dec 31, 2011 - it's spelled Teaneck, & didn't have a clue he was born in my neck of the woods. Tks for the 411

Jan 24, 2012 - Saw him with my girlfiend Dorothy this night. Saw him at the old Palamino Club in Norh Hollywood years before. Great shows.

Feb 19, 2012 - Does anyone know the names of the others that died with him on the plane?. It's kind of shame not to mention them also.

Feb 27, 2012 - I ran up on stage and Rick Nelson kissed me, at the San Diego animal park!:-)

Feb 28, 2012 - Grew up listening to Ricks music and I still enjoy it today at 67 years young.

Mar 7, 2012 - I had the pleasure of attending a Rick Nelson concert back in 1978 at the DB'S Club in the Hyatt Regency in Dearborn Michigan and it was a dream come true to listen to his music live? Having grown up watching Ozzie and Harriet and following Ricky Nelson as a child and loving all his music what true classic that was, R.I.P Rickey Nelson!

troubadourtr56 Says:

Mar 13, 2012 - The others who died were..Helen Blair(fiance),Bobby Neal(lead guitar), Pat Woodward(bass)Andy Chapin(piano)Ricky Intveld(drums)and Clark Russell(road manager). He was only 45. He was on a come-back with interest growing in his early music. Two years later he was inducted into the R&R Hall of Fame along with his heroes, Carl Perkins and Roy Orbison.I saw him & this band just months before. The last song he recorded was Buddy Holly's "True Love Ways." See Bio by Philliip Bashe

troubadourtr56 Says:

Mar 13, 2012 - have you ever contacted his family? I'm sure Tracy, Matthew and Gunnar would appreciate hearing from you.

troubadourtr56 Says:

Mar 13, 2012 - Don't know the background of this thread, but the NTSC report from May, 1986 concluded beyond much doubt the crash was caused by the faulty heater and, from what was documented, some neglect on the part of one of the co-pilots. It was also common knowledge among his friends and band that he used marajuana and cocaine..but, it was not a serious problem at the time.

DWhite2280 Says:

Mar 13, 2012 - No I haven't, I am sure they have many people contacting them about being related to them. My grandma Elizabeth Hillard was Harriet's cousin. I know Harriet is from around Dayton, Ohio. I't be pretty cool to be able to talk to Tracy, Matthew, Gunnar or Sam. I think my mom would be very excited and happy about that.

selene2317 Says:

Apr 22, 2012 - That is cool. How much his music had an impact on you He would have been the same age of my father if was alive today. I was 13 when he was killed and I remembered how sad my parents were to hear it and I must say he was a talented and very handsome man. I am glad to see his music is liked by other generations such as mine. I am 39 years old and I enjoy many legendary song of that era and this is one of my favorites

That a 40 year old would be acting THIS immature is SO PATHETIC! How can you not see thats his real hair hahahahaha oh my god this is stupid I'm not even debating this anymore. Peace.

fyahrn Says:

Apr 26, 2012 - so true and so sad :( i don't think he was alone and broken, however. he was at a very good point in his life, everything was looking good for him. i think he was very happy and he felt that everything was okay. he was even working on new songs and comeback. also i dont think he was alone; he had helen, and they both loved eachother very much.

fyahrn Says:

Apr 26, 2012 - His voice was incredible, it was smooth and gentle, and like BOB DYLAN said, it was "calm and mysterious" and "made you fall into a certain mood". He was an awesome guitar player, though he did admit that he didn't know many chords. Who cares? He is absolutely a legend. The style of music that made bands popular like The Eagles? HE DID IT FIRST. He is a legend through and through, and a beautiful man. Haters like you can GTFO! Jealousy at its finest. And if youre so good, why arent you famous?

fyahrn Says:

Apr 26, 2012 - "whats left of it" LOLLOLLOLOL

cbarrett34 Says:
