It was also common knowledge among his friends and band that he used marajuana and cocaine..but, it was not a serious problem at the time.

Apr 26, 2012 - so true and so sad :( i don't think he was alone and broken, however. he was at a very good point in his life, everything was looking good for him. i think he was very happy and he felt that everything was okay. he was even working on new songs and comeback. also i dont think he was alone; he had helen, and they both loved eachother very much.

He was an awesome guitar player, though he did admit that he didn't know many chords. Who cares? He is absolutely a legend. The style of music that made bands popular like The Eagles?
