But he was never in serious contention for the nomination and dropped out fairly early on. Looks like it's going to be Romney now, which is good and bad. May 27, 2012 - It tells you how stupid the U.S. is when you realize that votes are counted by "districts" instead of individual votes, and that "talking points" and "sound bites" can change a person's mind about politicians. I mean, the electoral system really means that it's not how many people in a district are democrat or republican that counts; its how likely you are to convince enough to come out to vote, so that 50% +1 vote one way, thus consuming all the opponent's votes. It's a zero-sum game...
