Mar 23, 2012 - In addition to that the premise of free market is to let person to make mistakes and to take responsibility. But what is the price of making mistakes is too high, how can one learn from such mistakes? given each person can live only once.
PazGuerro Says:
Mar 23, 2012 - It is not the government's role to protect individuals from themselves, only to enforce basic laws that protect us from each other. If someone makes a mistake that costs them their own life, then they die. That is a rule of nature. It is not and should not be the aim of the government to assure each and every individual the longest possible life, only that they are free to choose how to live their own lives, and live with the consequences of their own mistakes, freely from control.
Haplo09 Says:
Mar 23, 2012 - "It is not the government's role to protect individuals from themselves" if it was that simple. How and what would consitutde basic law. Hardcore fundamentalists teaching their kids that world is 6000 years old, teaching kids to hate homosexuals and live according to bible? Eliminate any ability for kids to think for themselves and then hoping they will make rational actors in free marekt economy?" If someone makes a mistake that costs them their own life, then they die." sums it up

Mar 23, 2012 - I am an atheist, but was raised in a very conservative atmosphere. Once you reach a certain age, you think for yourself. You cannot blame the parents for everything, and I am not sure if this is what you were implying, but having the government regulate morality has never worked in history. You lead by example, and to do that, you have to put good role models in office. In other words, almost none of the members of Congress or any President from the last 100+ years.

Mar 23, 2012 - "Once you reacih a certain age, you think for yourself" if it was that easy, just think for yourself. Different people respond to environment differently. Have u ever heard about "orchid and dandelion children"? I never said that you should blame somebody for everything.Look at recent case of murder of teenager in flordia. Any free market person, (In theory) would say it is fault of teenager or parents because they choose to live in wrong complex. Right? "You make mistakes you die" se la vi.

Mar 24, 2012 - Hayek compromised with the statists and interventionists. Fuck Hayek. He doesn't deserve to be called an Austrian economistFurthermore, once you've started making utilitarian arguments (rather than natural rights arguments) to support freedom, you have ventured into consequentialism -- and thus you have already lost your argument and your soul

Apr 7, 2012 - I like how you ditch "The General Theory..." in the beginning. Also, at 2:07, you look a little like Tina Fey imitating Sarah Palin. I actually prefer the real Sarah Palin. She is so cute! Anyways, your song is excellent.

schizoafekt Says:
Apr 29, 2012 - libertarianism is wrong - there are proofs, that if you make people to pay 50% of peoples wages to state budget, unemployment rate is lower. that is why only 25% of people are employed without any contract in informal sector in welfare states and unemployment rate in Spain is only 22,85%.

proffak Says:
May 8, 2012 - Then you dont know, what libertarianism is about.
schizoafekt Says:
May 8, 2012 - Surely not about high intervention and restriction of freedom to the state. But I read that Ayn Rand despised on libertarianism, so I may be wrong.

Mar 23, 2012 - Suppose one day u realize that one of your brothers/family members is abusing his kid, and besides that he is teaching him that he should hate you and your family because you are selfish egoistic rich and self centered. It comes to your attention but as any belived in personal decision you choose to ingnore and respect the right a family to raise kids as they like. A few years later u come in confrontation and this murders your family in act of rage. The question is this only his responsibility?
