Apr 30, 2011 - Actually he didn't turn it down. They chose not to ask him back. Primarily because his actions on the set of the Hulk movie left marvel with a bad taste for him. Norton asked marvel to let him rewrite the Hulk script, which they agreed to but; the director edited the vast majority of the re-write out and left it on the cutting room floor. If the information online is to be trusted.Kevin Feige's statement to Hitfix is good evidence they disliked him however.
