Mar 18, 2012 - I love Star Wars, don't get me wrong... but if I had to choose between the two, I choose Trek. Trek has the best utopian vision of the future, one that I hope we actually achieve in real life. For me personally, ST:4 "The Voyage Home" beats all the Star Wars movies.

Mar 23, 2012 - One can not possibly compare a children's movie series with the phenomenon that is Star Trek. The Original Series was thought provoking and ground breaking in so many ways. It's hardly worth bothering to argue with these people.....but it's fun to gloat!!!!
EltonJThe Says:
Mar 29, 2012 - Yep, they both like each other.
neonjack Says:

Apr 3, 2012 - Starwars tells a story of epic and gallant adventures from a galaxy far far away written by great sci fi writers. Star Trek tells an indomitable story of hope and discovery, of humanities victories over ourselves in a section of a galaxy that we call home written by collaborations of scientists/futurist/sci fi writters/actors and all of its tech can be explained not just *poof* it does this but i cant explain how or why. Both are great. SW is popcorn fair,ST is a template for our future.

Apr 22, 2012 - Sorry, Fat-Shat. Star Wars beats Star Trek hands down. Always has, and always will. Keep holding on to your boundless ego. Looks like Takei had your number all along.

xaralamb1 Says:
Apr 25, 2012 - STAR TREK is the best he's right I love the character build up in that series. Star Wars was all about special effects = money.
Marckymarc71 Says:
May 2, 2012 - There is no way William Shatner is 80 years old. I mean he is...but he CAN'T be. George Burns in OH GOD! is what an 80-year-old man looks and sounds like. Bill must have found a way to tap into the space-time continuum and permanently frozen his appearance at the age of 60.
Nelly Arkoff Says:
May 6, 2012 - wouldn't have had Star Wars witrhout Star Trek hahahahahaha.
mayorip Says:
May 7, 2012 - that was funny, i think star trek voyager is better than star trek though :)
Pidgeon182 Says:
May 7, 2012 - Actually, I am not so sure about that. Star Wars was based off of a Japanese film called "The Hidden Fortress" by the great Akira Kurosawa. It may be true, but I somewhat doubt it. Either way, Star Wars is better in terms of story, special effects, character development, and acting. Seems like Star Trek is synonymous with campy acting (especially the original). The Next Generation wasn't that bad, though. I even enjoyed that a bit.
