May 24, 2012 - I'm frankly sorry, but you watched too much of the same genre: sci-fi and police stories. Putting in Citizen Cane, Godfather II or such classics won't change the whole format of your reviews. Anybody can state those movies because somebody before you said they were groundbreaking. You have 'popcorn' tastes and there's nothing wrong with that, I do too. But don't pretend your eye is clever because anybody can do what you do, but to do it well is different. You need more thinking and less feeling.

JPizzle1122 Says:

May 24, 2012 - I never even suggested my "eye is clever"... I like a good popcorn blockbuster, that's my go-to-genre. That doesn't preclude me from enjoying more sophisticated or nuanced films however -- but when writing reviews for a mass-audience, as I am here, it is important to play to my demographic, and highlight films I know people are interested in watching. I resent your suggestion that I don't do this well (Movie Night is the #1 review show on YouTube), and that I'm not presently "thinking" here.

warrenwac2013 Says:

May 26, 2012 - I agree that Shawshank Redemption, Forrest Gump, Back to the Future, Jurassic Park, and Die Hard are all top ten films.I also love The Green Mile, E.T.,Porkys movies, Nat Lampoons vacation movies, A christmas story, Halloween, Texas chainsaw massacre, and maybe Im a moron, but:Beavis and Butthead do America.Older movies I like are the original Time Machine, and the original King Kong..NEW movies: I love The Three Stooges.

warrenwac2013 Says:

May 26, 2012 - I need to watch that.

Stoopdog1 Says:

May 26, 2012 - what does it receive then

KILJaden35BETA Says:

May 26, 2012 - well as far as visuals it was possibly the most beautiful film i have ever seen, also the acting was terrific but the film plot was not only quite lacking but mirrored the film dances with wolves a great deal. there were other flaws but id call it 7/10 great first watch but after that meh. If you want a really great review of it check out red letter medias review

hedonism13 Says:

May 26, 2012 - So this is just a list of your favourite films then? Not a list of the best films of all time? You should probably correct the title in that instance.

daslicksta22 Says:

May 26, 2012 - Scott Pilgrim all day

squerintain Says:

May 27, 2012 - Finally someone giving Cloverfield the price that it deserves

sandreid87 Says:

May 28, 2012 - Avatar? Independance day? really?

manujsahal Says:

May 28, 2012 - You look an enterprising and ambitious young boy. But as far as your taste of cinema is concerned, you have ventured bit too early into becoming a film-critic/reviewer. You need some maturity, sensibilities and exposure. I hope you accept it as a constructive criticism to lead your audience and the cinema in the right direction. All the best.

JPizzle1122 Says:

May 28, 2012 - ... "young boy"? I'm 26... I'm a grown-ass man. That said, do you care to elaborate how or why I need to gain maturity and exposure? Or why my age somehow precludes me from reviewing films... this is the art of opinions, not the science of facts. There is no proper age you must be to review films critically.

manujsahal Says:

May 28, 2012 - ..why....because you might end up misleading the audience into only one genre "an american sci-fi thriller with lots of naked girls".

manujsahal Says:

May 28, 2012 - ...How ?...watch a bit of Kurosawa, Bergman, Felini, Krzysztof Kieslowski, Stanley Kubrick, Sergio Leone, Godard, David Lean, Capra, John Huston, Anthony Minghella, Emir Kusturica, Woody Allen, Polanski, Guy Ritchie, Lars Von Trier, Nicholas Winding Refn, Wong kar wai etc...perhaps then your sorry lily click-hungry zentropa american mind will begin to grow.

JPizzle1122 Says:

May 28, 2012 - Good heavens, you're a pretentious, film-snob douchebag. You seem to hate "American sci-fi thrillers" because you can, and not because they deserve it. The films listed here (half of which aren't sci-fi) are all amazing movies, and one of them have "naked girls" in them.Do you have a real criticism? Or are you just going to hate on people because they enjoy well-made, popular films?

manujsahal Says:

May 28, 2012 - ...well...as far as you "well made popular movies" umbrella is concerned (an excuse with which you are justifying your sorry taste & limited exposure), please check the inflation adjusted current value of gross revenues & profit on investment by popular & well made movies like 'the good, the bad & the ugly', 'forrest gump', 'the lives of others', 'gone with the wind, 'E.T.', '2001: A Space Odyssy'... and most of them are Americans & some also Sci-fi, yet do not belong to your list.

manujsahal Says:

May 28, 2012 - ...please add at least "inception" in your list, it might save you from getting a "the Worst List Ever Razzies"

JPizzle1122 Says:

May 29, 2012 - Well, I gave Inception a 9/10... and I only highlighted "10's" in this video. So yeah... keep failing at paying attention.

JPizzle1122 Says:

May 29, 2012 - I don't understand your point... just because I didn't include those movies on this ONE video, doesn't mean I haven't seen, enjoyed, understood, or appreciated them. Those are all great films (some more than others)... but you have completely failed to make an actual point or criticism of any kind. Are you deaf and stupid, or just an asshole?

VerystrangeMaster Says:

May 29, 2012 - dark knight is not a good movie unless you are a retard. It's impossible to understand, I know !

bigfatdicklsd Says:

May 29, 2012 - 1:50 "Asks the age old question: if you could fix the mistakes of yesteryear, would you? knowing you could lose your best friend in the process?" hahahah yeahh... that age old question we've all thought long and hard about..

manujsahal Says:

May 29, 2012 - The title of this video 'THE BEST MOVIES OF ALL TIME!" is misleading. You might like to correct it to "My favorites", unless you have a pretentious "i know it all" attitude. Ideally speaking, a film should be judged on its own merits without any comparison with films of other genre/time/culture. You can definitely have your favorites, but comparisons and "top 10 ever" kind of baseless sensational news/list is generally created by media for monitization or by attention seeking individuals.

JPizzle1122 Says:

May 29, 2012 - Well, AS I EXPLAINED: The title of the video refers to the audience-voted list featured at the end, and in the description: The 10 movies I actually reviewed are ostensibly unrelated, and just a quick selection I wanted to feature. This was very carefully explained at the start of the video. Please pay attention next time, and dismount your high-horse.

JPizzle1122 Says:

May 29, 2012 - Correcting the mistakes of your past *is* a universal desire: what's so funny about my observation?
