May 19, 2012 - I wish people still created music like this but nobody dares to be different, all this club "music" taking over the radios is actually depressing, this right here is real music.

May 23, 2012 - Wow, what a gem. I highly doubt MTV played this video. It's so interesting to see how some things remain the same in this video. Some of the fashions could be right out of a video today! It's too bad that there aren't artists like him anymore. A radio documentary about him said that an agent found him singing commercials. When asked to sing as an artist, he was so shy that he got scared and initially rejected a contract. You just never know when chance and right timing will occur.

May 23, 2012 - You are wrong! Believe it or not, there was a time when MTV actually played MUSIC!

egmjag Says:

May 23, 2012 - I understand that because I can still remember when MTV first debuted, and the silly commercial about "I want my MTV." What I meant is that they didn't play any black music videos unless they were crossover--if even that. It was only after an MTV executive warned MTV in general that they had better play Michael Jackson's music or else. After that, Michael was the one who broke the barrier in 1982. Before that, you had to be pop oriented if you were black. No funk was allowed period.
