Feb 16, 2010 - If you want them to be anything like fresh noodles, soak them overnight in room temperature water. They'll be much better than putting them in hot water for 15-20 minutes like everyone and their mom says to do.

Nov 4, 2011 - YEs and they are nicer...the texture is awesome...cook them in boiling water first until they are done...drain and add just a tiny tea spoon of soy sauce and a little bit of groundnut oil or sesame oil..then fry some shitake mushrooms...a little bit of dried shrimp...cut carrots and celery into thin strips...marinade some thinly sliced pork strips in soy sauce and stir fry these ingredients...and add the cooked vermicelli back in...stir them all together and u have a perfect meal
