Jun 1, 2011 - I think you should cook the hell out of everythiing to reduce the risk of infection, although that is no guarantee of course. Since I still sometimes eat red meat, I make sure I cook it so that there is no red or almost no red in the middle. The TV ads usually show the meat with red in the middle, but that's not for me.

After all, if you cook the seafood long enough you just might get some of the cancer producing chemicals out. BP Oil Spill, Japan nuclear incident, Toxic sewage ponds in Asia where they grow shrimp, World-wise PCB (cancerogen!) and heavy metals, mercury contamination of ALL waters. Thank you, I take a pass.
