Feb 8, 2011 - Not much further. They were running out of steam by the end of the last tour. They were only popular mostly as a novelty, and because people wanted to see john and dan with good musicians. But they really were losing popularity by the last tour.Check out the best of the blues brothers SNL video for clarification if you dont believe me.I think one of the main reasons they are so popular today is because we CANT see them anymore. If he was still alive they would have faded away
