My mom used to yell, "In or out, in or out" as she was trying to clean the floors we were tramping on. Apr 12, 2012 - Even though I never bought the record and it was playing on the radio in 1970, whenever I hear of White Plains, NY, this tune plays in my head. I think I heard Rush Limbaugh make fun of this song a decade ago on his show. It must have been the time when he dropped out of college when this song was on the charts in spring 1970.
