Everything he said in that video came to be true. He said that going into Iraq and oust Saddam from power in 1991 that it would be difficult to bring the country's various political factions together and that U.S. troops would be vulnerable to guerrilla attacks which plunged into civil war, basically making it a quagmire.Too bad Bush Jr didn't listen.

I have nothing but disdain for America's involvement in that war, along with the other actions in the region (for example the CIA backed coup of Mosaddeq). I don't however see how that makes Saddam any less responsible for his actions. He actually started the war. His usage of chemical weapons were disgusting. He was a war criminal and should have been treated as such. Oh and so I'm not misunderstood, I feel he should have been overthrown by his own people.
