May 27, 2012 - Actually no,the fire extinguisher does work on a level. basically, it cools the thermite so quickly it explodes little chunks of redhot/burning metal in every single direction. those guys were lucky. if they'd actually used that extinguisher,unless it was class D, Somebody seriously could've died. don't laugh at thermite guys.it only "sucked", because the safe was steel. if it had been aluminum, normal iron, or magnesium, (unlikely) like an engine block usually is, it'd all be melted or burning.
