Also, what makes you say religion isn't part of human nature? - Anyhow, religion is clearly the least of our problems in today's world; the problems lie in Western civilization; globalization, the media (an example of 'mind corruption' as you put it) etc. let's be realistic, please.

I agree religion may cause problems; but other factors come into play such as politics that catalyze the problems. Everything's linked, and the blame can never be put solely on solely, now I'd that in itself is vacuous. I can bring up history, philosophy, geography, sociology; a never ending list of things that tie in together.

Just a minor example; think of media and how they've created stereotyping, that in itself lead to major problems. They mislead people, twist the truth around, and fill society's mind with a bunch of false information; now that lead to wars.
