Get a good flat iron though, Conairs are shit (one that goes up to 450° [I use a Herstyler Colorful Seasons]). I use a protectant spray, then divide my hair into sections, straighten and then I use a little dab of straight sexy hair stuff (forgot what it's called) and put that all over my hair and it makes it soft and shiny and I love it!
