May 25, 2012 - Do you even know what an apex is? It's right in the fucking middle of the turn. After the apex your bike will be standing back up out of the turn. You brake ALL THE WAY TO THAT SPOT, where the apex is when you have the most lean angle at any point in the turn, and then roll on the throttle as you come off the brake. You don't brake straight up and down and then let off the brakes and turn. Common (not commen, fucktard.) knowledge is not so common. Common idiocy, however...

May 25, 2012 - you dont brake in a turn. End of story.Well, I hope you do cause honistly I woulden t care if you laid your bike down. Just dont tell people specialy new riders to brake while turning or your risking their lives. Its ok to admit your wrong, it shows your mature.
rkfaithfulblade Says:
May 26, 2012 - You must be pretty immature then. New riders shouldn't use front brake in a turn because they haven't gotten over target fixation and they don't understand the use of the front brake yet. As you add lean angle, you have to take away brake pressure. Doesn't mean you can't use your fuckin brake in the corner though.

May 26, 2012 - You have the spelling and grammar of a 6 year old, and you want me to believe you've been riding longer than I've been born? Especially when you don't even know something I learned in the first 2 months of riding... You want an end of story? Here: youtube(dot)com/watch?v=PH7mSN9MFb4Don't believe them? Here: youtube(dot)com/watch?v=Q0utSo_RbTY Why don't you go tell him he's doing it wrong, I'm sure you could ride circles around him.

May 26, 2012 - so wait did he get a ticket?
teeceetime2 Says:
May 27, 2012 - I'm still rather new to riding, so don't attack me here haha, but it seems like the rider here in this video just got spooked by the cop waiting for him right around the corner, and instinctively jammed on the brakes because he knew he was over the speed limit. And also, the beginner rider course I took taught us to do your breaking before the turn, and accelerate through it.

May 29, 2012 - True story. I really think its a big issue in the states. I work for a motorcycle dealership and get squids coming in wanting the biggest sport bike they can get. I just really feel we should license in cc's rather than just giving a learners permit and saying go at it.
denokmase Says:
May 29, 2012 - lol cop surprised the hell outta the guy.
vwflat4driver Says:
May 30, 2012 - . make alot of sense to me. but even then it would still have loop holes. in europe its a Horsepower license. A CC limite wont work. 1000cc bike from 2012 is puttung down 170hp. a 1000cc bike from 1980 might make 80hp if its tuned right.. a 96 inch (1600cc)HD big twin barley musters up 70hp stock. so just on this example alone A cc law would not work well>
ryley92 Says:
May 30, 2012 - fuck cops

May 30, 2012 - They have this in place in Australia. Learner legal bikes. It works on the bikes power to weight ratio. How it works. You go to a trainer and get you Learners license. You have it for 6 months. You go back to a trainer and get your provisional license. You have it for 12 months. For this 18 month period you are restricted to a Learners bike. After this you are on your open license and can ride any bike you want.

May 25, 2012 - lol, yeah, that is correct, you brake UNTILL THE APEX OF THE CORNER and roll you throttle through the turn, you just porved your own statement wrong. You adjust your speed before the apex of the turn, you dont brake through it or you will probly low side your bike. I didnt have to use google for this info, it commen knowledge.
