I'm de-toxing after 6 months of poor advice and non-existant follow-up care from a pain management "specialist". I'll stick to Oxycodone and smoke marijuana instead (as prescribed of course). Beats being sooo constipated you have to...well, I won't go there. It was BAD IDEA, BAD EXPERIENCE.

Mar 11, 2012 - I just switched from oxycodone to morphine..morphine is much more suttle and doesnt have quite the immediate pain relief of oxy.Morphine lasts longer and relieves my pain better-the only downsides are the side effects of constipation and being drowsey-both are severe enough to consider going back to oxycodone.I advise everyone not to start opiates/opoids unless totally needed.It has been a difficult few years.The dependance/tolerance is devestating..and withdrawl is hell on Earth.
