Feb 14, 2012 - Am I the only one who thinks the album version is better? Probably because I heard the album version first. This one is very good as well but less dark, more like a "sad" ballad-like version. The one on album is much more outcrying, desperate, self-destructive, with all the distorted sounds and DM electronic goodness. The only wish I have that they'd had the album version longer and more epic (something like "In Your Room" on TSOFD) and that the 4-minute version was released as single.

May 5, 2012 - Dave Gahan once said he was grateful for the ride on the coat tails of Martin Gore (or words to that effect). I feel so sad that he had such little belief in his musical ability to have said that. I could babble on but I'll get to the point and disagree. Depeche Mode is a collection of thought-provoking, awe-inspiring, beautifully talented individuals who couldn't be (professionally) who they are today without each other...so there. Also, I bloody well love this song.
