May 27, 2011 - I respect Obama & West.I agree with something Bill Maher said--I'm paraphrasing-something to the effect that Obama has only so much political capital-can only take so many risks etc..& I think this is true there are a lot of wealthy corporate democrats who would lose support/funding for Obama if they felt he crossed the line into more left/progressive areas-I can see that Obama is a worthy man.I admire West's recognition for all poor people's struggle & ultimately I hope his vision triumphs.
