This was a car I built up with some friends for fun. It's a 1970 VG Valiant station wagon (it's an A-body Mopar, like a Dodge dart...but a wagon)and we yanked the stock 4-litre six and bolted in a 440ci motor. The car was awesome, we would abolutely hose WRX's on the street and no-one expected anything from an old white station wagon.This video is quite old and it was the first video I ever edited. It comes from when we raced the wagon at an 1/8th mile meeting at Sydney's Oran Park. I came runner up at the meeting and I decided to show enough of each run to show how we won. Most of the time it looks like I'm racing myself until the camera pans. In the final we raced a drag pick-up and stayed with it for most of the run which shows how capable the wagon was.I still have the wagon, it now runs a turbocharged 4-litre, I'll post up some videos as they become available.Enjoy.

Dec 3, 2009 - Yep, it's an Australian only model. We run slightly different front sheet metal but I'm sure you can see the Dodge Dart influence.

Nov 21, 2010 - @bobyoung53 The 440 belonged to a friend, it was an engine he'd bought years before and he wanted to see how it went, and I wanted to see how the wagon would go with one in it. Then he bought my Charger and put the 440 in that, so I fitted a turbo six to the wagon, but it wasn't as much fun. Now the wagon is sitting in the shed waiting for me to do something with it. I'll probably just fit a 360 to it.

Dec 10, 2010 - I'd love to bring one of these wagons to the US, convert it to LHD, put in a 6.4 "New Gen" hemi and a stick...it'd confuse the hell out of a lot of people here and just be a hoot. Always loved the Aussie way of building cars- cool mix of US and European that is all Aussie.
