May 27, 2011 - you kinda sound like a hypocrite saying mma is everything yet kung fu isnt, kung fu has grappling, low kicks, high kicks, flying kicks, short and long range punches. kung fu is a very complete style go look at Cung Le who is a san shou fighter and tell me if his kung fu isnt practical in mma. mma is a SPORT not a complete style, and almost all mma fighters are wrestlers that just brawl out when they are standing with no technique.

Jul 10, 2011 - Respect to Ehsan Shafiq, he is a brilliant fighter and has some of the best reflexes i have ever seen. Whilst some of his kicks may lose him a point as he touches the floor first (depending on the tournament) he is brilliant and very skilled. Regards to people bringing in the MMA issue as always eeeeerrrr its simple, MMA stands for Mixed Martial Arts and Kung fu is a part of this. In terms of MMA as a sport please dont forget that its still a sport which is enjoyable to watch and train in.

Sep 20, 2011 - Cung Le has a blackbelt in Taekwondo as well as Sanshou. Also, Sanshou is a modern Kung Fu & is more like Kickboxing than traditional Kung Fu. I train MMA & dont train wrestling, so to say MMA fighters are wrestlers that brawl is incorrect. I got my blackbelt in Taekwondo, bluebelt BJJ & train & compete in Kickboxing.
