Oct 10, 2011 - "Beautiful Angel, seperated at birth" line. Removed from the Kid A version. Hard to believe MPS was written around the same time as Creep.

Dec 16, 2011 - Still upset that they didn't use this version of the song to close out Kid A, would have made it equal to OK Computer in my book.
TheMalfrey Says:
Dec 16, 2011 - Apparently this song was written before Creep according to Wiki. If it was, goddamn dedication to Thom for keeping this beautiful song for nearly a decade!

Dec 22, 2011 - I'm not sure why they decided to ruin this song for the album. I mean it was going so well with the organ for the first part, then they just broke it. Reminds me of Plinkett's commentary on the Star Wars Special Editions... You're into the song, and then they put all this crap in the way which takes you out of it. I mean, I feel like they must've known that they absolutely wrecked it when they put it on the album. They may as well have just added fart noises for the last half.
nuru0nuru Says:
Dec 22, 2011 - They did the same thing to a lesser extent with Videotape as well. I swear, the last track on their 9th album is going to be Gagging Order with a fucking kazoo accompaniment for the last minute and a half.

Jan 21, 2012 - youre kidding right?

Feb 16, 2012 - @nuru0nuru I actually always thought that one of the reasons Kid A and In Rainbows are so good compared to other albums by the band because they both have excellent closing tracks (these are Motion Picture Soundtrack and Videotape, which you say were both ruined). Also, The Bends, with Street Spirit, has a very good closing song.

Feb 20, 2012 - The Tourist and Life in a Glasshouse are also good

Mar 7, 2012 - I'm glad there are people that enjoy the album versions of Motion Picture Soundtrack and Videotape. Maybe if I'd heard the album versions before the pre-album versions, I wouldn't judge them so harshly. I still really feel like they purposefully ruined Motion Picture Soundtrack; maybe to make some sort of statement about the triteness of mainstream film... I don't know. I just don't know how else to explain what they did to it.
blizzfool Says:
Mar 20, 2012 - wierd, i think the album version is a millions times better than this crap

thehungryduck Says:
Apr 2, 2012 - Beautiful angel pulled apart at birth. Limbless and helpless, I can't even recognize you.
MelodicProphet Says:
Apr 6, 2012 - Check out my cover of this song, guys! Thom Yorke and Radiohead are my greatest inspiration in life. This is the most tragically beautiful song I have ever heard.
